Tingoton Marks the 27th National Ear Care Day
March 3 marked China's 27th National Ear Care Day. Its theme was “Scientific ear care for all, protecting hearing health together.” Hearing affects communication, learning, work and emotional life throughout the lifespan. The article links hearing difficulties with loneliness, anxiety and cognitive concerns, while identifying loud noise, unsafe listening habits, ear disease, medicines and aging as possible contributors.
Tingoton says it develops hearing-care support products for different stages of care. Its range includes 3D ear-impression scanners, video otoscopes, hearing-aid demonstration devices, audiometers, batteries, dryers, maintenance devices and retention cords. The company reports holding more than 60 patents in the field.
Tingoton recently introduced UltraFit RIC Pro, which it says draws on a large earmold data model and fits mainstream receivers. The company claims improvements in size choices, skin feel, fit, comfort and user satisfaction compared with its earlier version; no comparative user study is presented here.
Space Capsule care device
Tingoton also promotes the Space Capsule maintenance device, describing a compact design intended for use at home. The company says it combines vacuum moisture removal and controlled-humidity drying, UV treatment of surfaces, one-button operation and quiet running suitable for a bedside location. Claims about microbial reduction, moisture removal and hearing-aid protection would require product-specific test evidence.
Tingoton says another Space Capsule family member was forthcoming at the time of the article. The company uses National Ear Care Day to encourage safer listening habits and attention to hearing concerns.
