Tingoton UltraFit Earmold for RIC Receives a 2026 Good Design Award
Tingoton announced that its UltraFit RIC earmold had received a 2026 Good Design Award in the United States. The company describes the award as recognition of its product-development and design work. The award and category are reported here as Tingoton's claims.
Tingoton says the earmold was refined using data from more than 10,000 earmolds and fits over 95% of ear canals without individual customization. Those fit and convenience figures are company claims, not a guarantee for an individual wearer.
In January 2026, Tingoton launched UltraFit RIC Pro with small and medium sizes. It says the newer design has an optimized receiver-channel curve and closer receiver connection intended to improve fit, acoustic response, comfort and clarity. Tingoton presents these changes as creating a more comfortable, closer-fitting wearing experience.
Design approach
Tingoton describes the Good Design Award as valuing originality in technology, appearance and function alongside design that meets real user needs. The company says those principles align with its own development approach and that improving the RIC wearing experience motivated the product's iterations.
Tingoton says it intends to continue developing hearing-care products focused on user experience.
